Gretchen Keskeys Offers “Words of Truth” with Inspirational New Album

Peace, unity, love, hope, and healing are just a few of the themes woven throughout Gretchen Keskeys' upcoming third studio album, "Words of Truth" (Creative Soul Records), available everywhere on November 22. The celebrated singer/songwriter is no stranger to sharing heartfelt gems of spiritually-centered encouragement throughout her extensive music ministry, but this latest album may very well be considered her most inspirational to date given the candid observations, unflinching honesty and all-around relatability.
"Words of Truth" comes along at a unique time in America, when people seem more divided than ever before. And Keskeys explores that division with this new collection of songs, with faith, God's love and patriotism as common themes throughout. Songs like "Look to Jesus" offer hope, and "God Will See Us Through" intertwines "God Bless America" and a touch of the National Anthem.
It's not surprising given her lifelong interest in current events and politics. In fact, prior to her music career, Keskeys graduated with a journalism degree, interned at a news station, and worked as an assignment editor, news writer, associate producer and talk radio producer as well an on-air talent.
"I started writing the songs on this album a year or more ago as I sought the Lord over the state of our country and its culture," says Keskeys. "It can be troubling. Everyone is pushing for their own truth. But, I believe Jesus Christ is the truth and His words are words of truth. When we look to Him, we have a hope and a solid foundation to stand on in these uncertain times. Throughout history, God's truth and love has prevailed."
Christian music fans quickly embraced Keskeys following her debut album, "Walking in the Spirit" (2016), and the follow up, "Pure Hope" (2017) - both from Creative Soul Records. She made frequent appearances on Christian television programs nationwide, including stops at Cornerstone TV's "Real Life," Christian Television Network, "Atlanta Live," "Babbie's House," and even Fox News Channel.
Keskeys performs at churches, events and women's conferences nationwide, where she openly shares her songs alongside an inspirational testimony detailing her complete deliverance from anxiety and depression. And she is also a regular worship leader at the Folsom Women's Facility at Folsom Prison.
"I am there one or two times a month and am blessed each time," says Keskeys. "The women pour out their hearts in worship and are serious in their Bible study. I can relate to them because I know what it's like to be at a place with no hope and a life that was scarred early on with a trail of bad choices and mistakes. They found what I found in Jesus Christ and I feel very at home in this prison chapel. It's beautiful to see these transformed lives."
Produced by Eric Copeland for Creative Soul Records and mixed by GRAMMY winner Ronnie Brookshire (Michael McDonald, CeCe Winans, Michael W. Smith, Sandi Patty), "Words of Truth" will be available November 22nd at all major digital retailers.
