Listen to Ginny Owens' Acoustic Version of "Magnified" Here
Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Ginny Owens has released an acoustic version of her new single "Magnifified." Co-penned by Owens with producer Tyrus Morgan and Tina Parol, the track is set to impact Christian AC and Hot AC/CHR formats and is available beginning today on Spotify and Apple Music, as well as leading digital retailers.
"I thought you'd like to know that today I've released the acoustic version of "Magnified." If you enjoy the more intimate, singer/songwriter style, I think you'll like this one a lot. Before kicking into the jazzy-feeling bass and drums, it's just me and a piano, kinda like what you'd hear if we were sitting in my living room, and I was playing it for you."
"I wrote "Magnified" with my great friend and producer Tyrus Morgan, and a new friend, Tina Parol, who has written for all kinds of artists including Celine Dion. The song is a call for love to be magnified in our hearts and our actions. Here's a little video with more of the story behind it."
With such defining hits as "If You Want Me To" and "Free," multi Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter, author and speaker Ginny Owens is one of Christian music's most prolific artists. Since her 1999 Rocketown Records debut, Without Condition, Owens has released 10 albums, three EPs and a Christmas project. A sought-after songwriter, her compositions have been recorded by such acclaimed artists as Michael W. Smith, JJ Heller and Rachael Lampa. Owens' "Fly Away," commissioned for the 2017 film Trafficked, was among selections considered for this year's Academy Awards ballot for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture.
In addition, Owens is the co-author of Transcending Mysteries: Who Is God and What Does He Want From Us? (Harper Collins 2015) and hosts the popular YouTube vlogs Blind Chick Chronicles and How I See It.
