Celebrating Hillsong's Joel Houston's 40th Birthday with 10 of His Best Worship Songs

Hillsong UNITED's Joel Houston turns 40 today! Joel is the son of Hillsong Church's senior global pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston. He is is currently co-pastor of Hillsong NYC with Carl Lentz.
Joel made his vocal debut in 2002 with UNITED. As part of Hillsong United music team, Joel has helped lead worship conferences in North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. He has also contributed to the main Hillsong album recordings as well. Many of the songs he has written or co-written are sung in churches worldwide and have been translated into 32 languages.
In celebration of Joel's 40th birthday, Brian Houston writes: "FOURTY! I am so proud of my oldest - His love for God and compassion for people - Artist - Poet - Wordsmith - Songwriter - Worshipper - Husband - Father - Son - In recent time's golfer - Surfer and other extreme stuff. I can't believe we have a fourty year old son.. Happy birthday @joelhouston - I love you.. "
Fellow worship leader Brooke Ligertwood expresses her congratulations: "This would be my brother-from-the-Bobbie-mother, @joelhouston. He's not the friend who will pick you up from the airport or help you move house, but he's the friend who will be in your corner in every season of life, even when it's not a popular or well-understood place to be. Happy 40th birthday, old mate. The best is ahead. Love you very much!"
