We Are Messengers Celebrate the Success of "Honest"

It's been a milestone week for We Are Messengers. The band wrapped TobyMac's 37-stop "Hits Deep Tour" (4/7), and celebrated the release of its new EP, Honest (3/29), which immediately rocketed onto Billboard's Top Christian/Gospel Top 10 and continues to rise.
Garnering 10 million on-demand streams in its first week alone, the six-song set was warmly embraced by fans and critics alike. Arianna Huffington's Thrive Global dubbed Honest "dazzling," writing, "We Are Messengers is potent, effective, and liberating."
The EP's lead single, "Maybe It's Ok" - currently No. 2 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart (in its 12th consecutive week in the Top 10, 7th in Top 5) - has resonated wildly with all walks of life, as people connect with its message of raw vulnerability. In a world drowning in curated, heavily-filtered social media projections of perfection while mental illness skyrockets, the band boldly asserts: maybe it's OK if we're not OK.
To support its message of self-acceptance and healing, the band launched MaybeItsOk.com - a safe place for fans to anonymously share their struggles, breaking the power of silent shame.
We Are Messengers - Darren Mulligan (lead vocals), Kyle Williams (guitar), Drew Kerxton (drums), and Drake Kennedy (bass) - have played for nearly half a million people across 40 states and 5 countries this year alone, and will continue to tour throughout the U.S. before heading overseas in late May.
