Family Force 5 Shares Story Behind "Let It Be Love" (VIDEO)
Family Force 5 have released another song for fans to hear titled "Let It Be Love". The track will be on their upcoming album, Time Stands Still. This is the Atlanta based band's first album in three years and will be released on August 5th.
You can listen to the band share about the meaning behind their new song and how John Foreman from Switchfoot helped inspire "Let it Be Love" HERE.
"Since the beginning, Family Force 5 has felt called to stretch boundaries, to step outside of the box from the way faith-based artists have traditionally sounded and worked," said Crouton in a press release. "We've received a lot of criticism for that over the last eight-and-a-half years and our team has always struggled with the right way to respond."
They released their first single "BZRK" earlier this week from their new album and the first listen to new lead singer Jacob "Crouton" Olds as he replaced his brother Soul Glow Activatur (Solomon Olds) last year. This will be the first chance to hear Crouton sing lead on all of the songs.
The band has never really fit in a certain music genre besides their self-proclaimed 'crunk rock' as they have covered the spectrum of almost every genre from rock, pop, crunk, dance, and even dubstep. Their new album, Time Stands Still, will be no different, pushing limits from song to song.
