The Showers Shine During the 33rd Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards Weekend

Two-Time Stellar Award-nominated sibling group,The Showers, shined with multiple high-profile appearances during the 33rd Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Friday, March 23rd, The Showers, who were nominees in the category of Contemporary Duo/Group or Chorus of the Year, for their Stellar nominated and BillboardTop 3 independent Gospel project, THE JOURNEY (A&P Records) were celebrated at the AARP Stellar Pre-show Nominee Reception and also were presenters on The Stellars Pre-Show Awards thereafter held at the Orleans Showroom. The sibling group also attended The Recording Academy's® intimate brunch at The Orleans Hotel earlier that day. On Saturday, March 24th, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) hosted their 9th annual "Morning Glory" Breakfast reception at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas and celebrated The Showers (members since 1999) by presenting them with a plaque to commemorate their musical accomplishments this past year. Additionally, The Showers' lead singer Titus Showers is slated to perform the group's new single "Love" along with featured vocalist and emerging artist Keyondra Lockett on The Dorinda Show on Tuesday, April 24th on the TCT Network. |
