Seth & Nirva Shine In Year-End Media Spotlight
Critically-acclaimed husband/wife duo and Integrity Music recording artist Seth & Nirva are set for two national media appearances this month, prior to the release of a remix of their popular song and rally-cry, "We Won't Back Down," on New Year's Eve.
Seth & Nirva are slated to appear on the national "WGN Morning News" on December 21, performing "Joyful, Joyful (O Come)" and "O Holy Night" during the Chicago-based network's daily program. In addition, the couple will be featured on a special New Year's Eve broadcast of Cornerstone Television Network's "The Living Room Concert Series," leading viewers across the country in a time of worship on the cusp of the new year.
Further setting the tone for 2018, Seth & Nirva will unveil the remix of "We Won't Back Down" on December 31. A powerful anthem of hope originally recorded on the duo's 2016 Integrity Music debut, Never Alone, the song calls "a generation unashamed" to stand firm for Christ in the face of religious, political and social challenges.
"We thought it would be fitting to release a remix of 'We Won't Back Down' at midnight on New Year's Eve," Seth Ready says. "We want to kick off 2018 by encouraging people to be alert to what God is doing-to be strong and courageous; to know that God is on the move and that we have a part to play in His grand story. The essence of this song is that we would stand firm on biblical principles, no matter what is going on in our surrounding culture, and that we would do so in a way that is loving and compassionate towards those who disagree with us."
"We feel a sense of urgency to help people recognize false ideas in our culture that are destroying lives," Nirva Ready adds. "We want to communicate this message through our music for sure, but also through speaking, writing, and other creative outlets. We look forward to presenting concerts in public schools and universities, in addition to performing and speaking in churches and at special events this coming year."
Seth Ready has taken the stage with many of the biggest names in Gospel music, including Kirk Franklin and CeCe Winans, while Nirva Ready was a familiar face in GRAMMY®-winning Christian music superstar TobyMac's DiverseCity Band for more than a decade. With a mission to serve and encourage the Church, together, as husband and wife, Seth & Nirva combine world-class talent with a passion for their audience. Their acclaimed 2016 Integrity Music debut, Never Alone, featured contributions from TobyMac, DJ Maj and Shonlock.
