Rejoice! Musical Soul Food Gospel Radio Network Expands its Reach with 20 New FM Affiliates

REJOICE! Musical Soul Food (REJOICE! MSF) Gospel Radio Network has expanded its reach with an exciting new partnership with REACH Radio Network. The fresh union has brought the celebrated REJOICE! MSF format to twenty new markets, including 97.1 FM in Philadelphia and 103.1 FM in Atlantic City, NJ.
The Dover, DE-based REACH Radio Network recently flipped all twenty of its Contemporary Christian Music FM radio stations to carry the REJOICE! MSF format. "We made the decision to carry REJOICE! MSF as a move to reflect the changing demographics of my congregation and to also reflect the changing demographics of the markets where the stations are based," says REACH Radio founder, Steve Hare (Pastor of Faith City Family Church in Newark, DE), of his twenty-three year old network.
"We are honored and excited to partner with REACH Radio," says REJOICE! MSF CEO Mike Chandler. "Pastor Hare has an incredible network. We are linking arms with him to expand the vision he has for the communities where REACH Radio is based."
April Chandler (CEO of HBK Media), who has been instrumental in re-imaging and promoting the REJOICE! MSF brand and launched its successful Musical Soul Food Festival two years ago, will handle strategic marketing for the entire network.
The new partnership adds a slew of stations that reach as far north as 88.1 FM in Buffalo, NY, as far south as 89.1 FM in Sumpter, SC and as far west as 90.1 FM in Arkansas. During the week, REJOICE! MSF boasts "The Mike Chandler & Friends Show" during morning drive, "The Tracy Morgan Show" in the midday, "Cedric Bailey's Traffic Jam" in the afternoon and "On Air with Ace Alexander" through midnight.
REJOICE! MSF also syndicates a dozen weekend programs such as "The Dorinda Clark Cole Show," "The Hezekiah Walker Show," "The Dottie Peoples Show," "Down Home with Melvin Williams," "On Stage with Earl Bynum," "The Coko & Cory Show" and several others. The REACH stations bring REJOICE! MSF to well over 150 affiliates.
