Jennifer Knapp Release New Music Video for Her Song "Remedy", Watch Here (VIDEO)
Songwriter, Jennifer Knapp has released a new video for her song "Remedy", which you can watch above. The video was shot by Pilot Moon Films and is raw black and footage of Knapp giving a live performance of the song. It is very simple, with just her and a guitar, letting her powerful vocals and songwriting shine through.
Jennifer is currently working on a new album which she is funding through Pledge Music. If you would like to be apart of her campaign, you can pre-order her new album HERE.
The Award winning singer-songwriter came to national attention in the Christian music world in the late 1990's with her great songwriting and strong voice. She sold over one million albums with her previous releases Kansas (debut 1998, Gold-certified), Lay It Down (2000), and The Way I Am (2001).
Knapp won 4 Dove Awards and has received 2 Grammy nominations. The Kansas-born musician toured the globe with artists such as Jars of Clay and was featured on the Lilith Fair Tour in 1999 and again in 2010. Knapp received critical acclaim with The Los Angeles Times calling her "a rising star" and People Magazine describing her as "an uncommonly literate songwriter."
With a considerable fan base and critical and commercial successes, Knapp walked away from music in 2002 at the height of her career. After a seven-year hiatus she returned in 2010 with a renewed passion for music showcased in her 2010 album Letting Go, which debuted at No.73 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart.
Knapp's earthy rock sound and catchy melodies are accompanied by poetic lyrics that paint her songs with candid emotions. She has an honest and straightforward style that has justifiably earned her comparisons to Sheryl Crow, Natalie Merchant and Melissa Etheridge.
