Glen Campbell Laid to Rest in Arkansas Hometown

Country music icon Glen Campbell was officially laid to rest in his hometown in Delight, Arkansas, on Wednesday. It was a private funeral attended by only family members. Campbell died on Tuesday (Aug. 8) following a lengthy public battle with Alzheimer's disease.
The Glen Campbell's official facebook page states: "The Campbell family would like to thank everyone for their enormous outpouring of love and support," a statement read. "Glen was laid to rest on Wednesday in a private ceremony in his hometown of Delight, AR. A private memorial will follow."
Glen's daughter Ashley Campbell writes: "I owe him everything I am. He will be remembered so well and with so much love."
Ashley, 30, is the youngest of the country icon's eight children and is also a country singer. Campbell was 81 at the time of his death.
