James Fortune Grabs the #1 Spot with "Dear Future Me"

Multiple GRAMMY® nominated and Stellar Award-winning acclaimed artist James Fortune locks in at #1 at Billboard's Gospel Albums chart this week. Fortune's new set Dear Future Me earns 4,000 equivalent album units (3,000 in traditional sales), in its first week, ending June 29, according to Nielsen Music.
The 17-track set is Fortune's third No. 1 on Top Gospel Albums (all of which have arrived at the apex). It follows Live Through It in 2014 and Identity in 2012. The album' is preceded by the singles "I Forgive Me" and the title track "Dear Future Me." An astonishing collection comprising 17 tracks in total, James Fortune & FIYA's new album DEAR FUTURE ME also features the standout songs "Expectation", "More Like You" and "Free Indeed", as well as featured appearances from Tasha Cobbs, Kierra Sheard, Isaac Carree, Zacardi Cortez, Todd Galberth, and Joseph "JoJo" Clarke.
