Sunday's Best Finalist Durward Davis Releases New Single "He'll Show Up Strong"

Tyscot Records and Clout Music Group have teamed up to release the new radio single, "He'll Show Up Strong," by former BET "Sunday Best" finalist, Durward Davis. Clout Music Group CEO, Stan Jones, who has written songs for Beverly Crawford and Brian Courtney Wilson, among others, wrote and produced the heart-pumping song. The track is featured on Davis' forthcoming debut album, "Never Be Defeated" (Clout Music Group/Tyscot), which will release late this spring.
The song is taking off at radio where it's picked up nearly a dozen station adds in a short time span. It's even reached the Top 25 on the station playlists of two leading gospel stations, WLOU 1350 AM in Louisville, KY and WAGG 610 AM in Birmingham, AL. "I really like the song," says WLOU Program Director, Broderick Purvis. "It's up-tempo and it's a good church song." View link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrpZVpoC3lU

He's a graduate of Oral Roberts University where he served as a member of the Oral Roberts Ministry Evangelistic Team. He gained national attention as a Season 3 finalist on BET's "Sunday Best" reality show and talent competition series in 2010 where he came in third in the competition behind Elder Goldwire McClendon and the winner, Le'Andria Johnson. He is an ordained elder in the Church of God in Christ. Durward and his wife, Sonya, currently reside in Tampa, FL.
