Ariana Grande was in attendance at the Radio Disney Music Awards over the weekend and she performed her new single "Problems" live to make it's national debut (watch performance above). The performers for the rest of the Awards were Becky G., Fifth Harmony, R5, Zendaya and Austin Mahone. Radio Disney is the #1 radio network devoted to kids, tweens and families.
Ariana's team released the new single officially on Monday, you can pick up "Problem" for download on iTunes HERE. The song is her first single off of her sophomore album and has a very 90's R&B feel to it.
"Head in the clouds got no weight on my shoulders, I should be wiser and realize that I've got one less problem without ya," sings Ari in the chorus. It's early to tell if it will be as big a hit for Grande as "The Way" was, but the single reached the iTunes top five on pre-orders alone.
Grande won 'Best New Artist of the Year' at the American Music Awards 2013 and her debut album Yours Truly has opened to huge success releasing the singles "The Way," "Baby, I," and "Right There". The album went to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 charts. She is compared by many to a young Mariah Carey, which would be crazy by most standards, but Grande has the range and vocal ability to be one of the few to even hold that comparison.
