'Years of Living Dangerously: The Correspondents' Premieres April 13th on SHOWTIME, Watch Behind the Scenes Preview Here (VIDEO)
SHOWTIME is premiering the new documentary series "Years of Living Dangerously" this Sunday, April 13th at 10PM ET/PT.
Several of Hollywood's brightest stars and today's most respected journalists team up to explore the issues of climate change and bring you intimate accounts of triumph and tragedy. "Years of Living Dangerously" takes you directly to the heart of the matter in this awe-inspiring and cinematic documentary series event from Executive Producers James Cameron, Jerry Weintraub and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Whether you believe in global warming or not, it should be an interesting watch and curious to see what kind of information they bring to light around the world to support their case.
The documentary will feature entertainment personalities including: Jessica Alba, Mark Bittman, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, America Ferrera, Harrison Ford, Thomas L. Friedman, Michael C. Hall, Chris Hayes, Olivia Munn, M. Sanjayan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ian Somerhalder and Lesley Stahl.
Each correspondent will research and visit different areas that could potentially bring a different impact of climate change - from the damage wrought by Hurricane Sandy in the tri-state area to political upheaval caused by droughts in the Middle East to the dangerous level of carbon emissions resulting from deforestation. The project aims to make the public aware of why climate change should matter to them, how it is affecting them and how they can take action to save the planet now.
