Sue Detweiler Sets Out to Help Couples in Their Marriages with Her New Book

Best selling author, pastor, and speaker Sue Detweiler is set to help couples in their marriages with her new book, 9 Traits of a Life-Giving Marriage: How to Build a Relationship That Lasts. The book is slated to hit retail shelves on October 2, 2015 through Elevate Entertainment.
Detweiler's new book is the highly anticipated follow-up to her No. 1 Amazon.com debut, 9 Traits of a Life-Giving Mom, which released digitally May 9, 2014 from Morgan James Faith, an imprint of Morgan James Publishing, with the hardcover version following on October 3, 2014.
"It's a vulnerable undertaking to write about your marriage," Detweiler confesses. "No two marriages are exactly alike, nor are couples perfect. Wayne and I have endeavored to allow God to shine through the windows of our lives to show His handiwork in our home. He mends the broken. His redemptive love has transformative power in our lives if we let Him in. I hope and pray that this book will help let God's light into marriages."
The multi-tasking Detweiler is uniquely qualified to speak on the subjects of motherhood and marriage, having served as principal of New Song Christian Academy, as well as supervising the LIFE School of Ministry, where she helped prepare pastors and leaders for ministry. She also serves in her highest calling as the mother of six children, including two sons that she and her husband adopted six years ago. She and her husband Wayne are currently planting Life Bridge Church in Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
"Ministering to marriages has been a foundational part of our ministry," she says. "We have seen God reach into the broken places of couples' lives and heal them from the inside out. 9 Traits of a Life-Giving Marriage is a resource for couples to be real and reach out to the One who can heal and restore their marriage. For those couples that have a great marriage, this book will help them go to the next level in their intimacy with each other and God."
Detweiler has recently been busy ministering about marriage and family in a variety of venues, including speaking at the MOMENTS women's ministry at The Woodlands Church, a 20,000 member church located north of Houston, Texas, and at a recent workshop for Christian Women in Media. Recent and upcoming appearances include television interviews with Indiana-based LeSea Broadcasting's flagship TV show, The Harvest Show, and Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Son Broadcasting's flagship program, God Answers Prayer.
9 Traits of a Life-Giving Marriage is scheduled to release October 2, 2015 from Elevate Entertainment. For more information about Detweiler and 9 Traits Of A Life-Giving Marriage, visit SueDetweiler.com .
