The Shalom Church City of Peace Mass Choir Drops Their Debut Album "So Amazing" on March 24

Under the pastoral leadership of Dr. F. James Clark, The Shalom Church City of Peace Mass Choir is releasing their debut Gospel music CD "SIMPLY AMAZING." This expressively poignant and invigoratingly charged worship project was recorded live at Shalom Church in September of 2014 under the musical direction of Dello Thedford, Music Minister at Shalom Church.
"SIMPLY AMAZING" is produced and directed by St. Louis native Oscar Williams, Jr. who is known for his prolific song writing and elaborate vocal arrangements. His soul-stirring gospel hit song "Safety" has become an all-time gospel favorite and labeled Williams as one of Gospel music's most sought after music directors and clinicians.
"SIMPLY AMAZING is a project that captures the true 'Church Choir' sound," Williams shares. "It is also a poignant project that promotes the message of Christ through a variety of music styles making it easy for anyone to hear the Gospel message through song!"
Thedford and Williams sculpted this 100-voice choir into an angelic united ensemble, yielding powerful praise anthems and adoring worship songs including the first radio single "We Praise Your Name".
Gospel radio is unquestionably supporting that "We Praise Your Name" is a full-bodied contemporary praise anthem that represents the essence of a joyous Sunday morning worship experience. "SIMPLY AMAZING" features guest performances by Gospel music's most dynamic vocalists and songwriters. Powerhouse vocalist Lecresia Campbell beautifully leads the free-flowing, passionate ballad "When I See The Blood" written by noted songwriter Rev. Quincy Fielding, Jr. Fielding also takes the reign at lead vocalist on "The Lord Is Blessing Me", which is a true traditional, churchy, hand-clapping experience. Gospel music's leading man Earnest Pugh delivers his undeniable signature vocals on the contemporary track "Trust Me", written by Shalom Church Assistant Minister of Music Nikki K. Ervin.
Shalom Church COP Choir executes pristine choir showmanship on the popular gospel song "Take It To The Lord In Prayer", written by Washington, DC based songwriter Rev. Nolan Williams, Jr."We Praise Your Name" single will be available on iTunes and digital music outlets March 24.
