'Red Band Society' Season 1 Episode 6: Mandy Moore, Daren Kagasoff Are IN
"Red Band Society" will bring back John Allen Nelson as Emma's Dad.
As revealed by the Holywood Reporter, John Allen Nelson will come out in the show, once again, as Emma character's dad. Emma, who is played by Ciara Bravo, is one of the main characters in the dramedy treat of Fox- the "Red Band Society".
In his previous projects, Nelson has worked with Rina Mimuon in the TV series "Privileged". In the project, he played the role of Arthur Smith. You'll, most probably, recognize this man from shows like "Baywatch 24" and NBC's "Crisis". Aside from these, he's the most popular (I think) in the pilot episode of "Friends" as Paul, the Wine Guy.
In the past six episodes, Nelson's character was mentioned a few times, described vividly as Emma's most supportive figure. This character was depicted as, "Loving and compassionate, a well-reserved man who always chooses his words in the most careful manners. With regards to saying "No" to his daughter, he's definitely considered a "hopeless case".
The upcoming episode entitled "Ergo, Ergo" will air on Fox, Nov. 5, Wednesday 9pm to 10pm with another guest star Mandy Moore. Spoilers have described this upcoming episode as:
"Jordi will be making a move right after Leo's abandonment of Emma. Hunter, a patient which will be played by Daren Kagasoff, will put Kara off her balance. Meanwhile, Jackson (Nurse) will do everything she could to keep Charlie at the Ocean Park so she sides with a guest character Dr. Grace, played by Mandy Moore, who'll happen to be Dr. McAndrew's ex.
Also in the cast are Octavia Spencer (Nurse Jackson), Dave Annable (Dr. McAndrew), Zoe Levin (Kara), Griffin Gluck (Charlie), Rebecca Rittenhouse (Nurse Dobler), Brian Bradley (Dash), Charlie Rowe (Leo), Nolan Sotillo (Jordi), and Ciara Bravo (Emma) with guest casts Daren Kagasoff (Hunter) and Mandy Moore (Dr. Grace).
Recently, it has been announced that Fox requested for additional scripts because the show is going-on a first season, struggling period. Well, it is not a guarantee that this will remedy the problem, or have it renewed for another season; however, this is a positive sign for all of the show's worried fans.
