Motorola Droid Turbo: Professional Photography in the Palm of Your Hands? More to Know About it
Even before the release of the anticipated Motorola Droid Turbo on Oct. 28, leaked images have surfaced and rumors of its specifications and features have also come up as well.
It was said in The Verge, that the leaked image came from a person in Twitter named @evleaks.
Tech Time said, the upcoming Motorola Droid was made as a result of Motorola and Verizon's exclusive smartphone partnership. Only Motorola has the rights to produce and manufacture the Droid Turbo for Verizon.
According to the leaked images, the Motorola Droid may have a metalized fiberglass chassis and a coating made of Kevlar, which can also be seen in the previous Droid Maxx.
The device will be available in either black or red and will look similar to other products of Motorola, namely the Moto X and the new Nexus 6.
Also, there is no MicroSD memory card slot that can be seen from the leaked images. This may not bode well for the Droid Turbo as it is rumored to only carry an internal memory storage of 32 GB.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad Core processor clocked in at 2.7 GHZ will be fitted with the Droid Turbo, along with a massive 3GBs of RAM. Another amazing specification of the Motorola Droid Turbo is its battery capacity, which is a staggering 3,900 mAh. Reports say that the battery can dish out 48 hours, even with just a singular charge.
Small Biz Trends noted that, another leak pertaining to the Droid Turbo states that a high tech 21 megapixel rear camera will be included. The camera is comparable to Panasonic's new high end point and shoot camera, the Panasonic Lumix CM1. Also, the camera will be fitted with a dual flash.
Aside from the powerful camera, another intriguing feature that the Droid Turbo will have is its wireless charging option, and will also be compatible with Motorola's new turbo charging device.
The Motorola Droid Turbo will not have OK Google, but it will be equipped with Motorola's virtual assistant software application, the Moto Assist. The smartphone app will be monitoring the user's routine and it will also have the capability to reject calls, with the exception of important ones, when the user is in a critical or significant meeting or during the user's sleep time.
