'Resident Evil: Revelations 2' Preview: Survive the Ominous Terror in 2015
The New York Comic Con thrilled gamers with the opportunity to plunge themselves into the world of Resident Evil, along with their exclusive demo of "Resident Evil: Revelations 2".
"Resident Evil: Revelation 2" is an upcoming game to the "Resident Evil" franchise as well as the second title to the Revelations series. It is also infamous as "Biohazard Revelations 2" in the Japanese gamer community. "Revelation 2" is the first title in the series to have a co-operative gameplay in the campaign without online support.
The game play follows Claire Redfield in her intense come back to the dread that disturbed her in the past, as noted in IGN. She is now employed under the anti-bioterrorism organization called "Terra Save". Meanwhile, Moira Burton goes to her welcome party for Terra Save. Moira is the daughter of Barry Burton. Suddenly, unidentified armed forces show up, rendering Moira and Claire unconscious. As they wake up, they realize that they are contained in a dark and abandoned detention facility. They join forces as they look for their abductors.
The game is not a continuation of "Resident Evil: Revelation". It only takes places between "Resident Evil 5" and "Resident Evil 6", as per Fangoria. The game demo at the New York Comic Con centered on Claire and Moira, whose mission is to look for a way out of a dystopic prison. The game is filled with very big zombie guards, puzzle-solving activities, plus a sneering vocal of threatening disaster. With this survival horror setting, games should strategize well on how they will use their ammo and weapon. Twists and turns will also juggle the players' gameplay for each step.
According to Franchise Herald, Capcom made an announcement that pre-orders on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles will include a "Throwback" stage pack. Revelations 2 will run and be available in the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One and Steam.
The upcoming game is officially announced at Sony's pre-TGS 2014 conference last first day of Sept. 2014. The highly-anticipated "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" is set to be released in Japan at some point in early 2015 while it is to hit North America on Feb. 17, 2015.
