'The Mentalist' : On its Season Finale, More Intriguing Twists Await
CBS police drama "The Mentalist" may premiere its seventh and last season starting in January 2015, as IB Times stated. Tweets about the upcoming season have surfaced from the show's stars and staff.
Tim Kang, who plays the character of Kimball Cho, says in his tweets that the upcoming seventh season of the Mentalist is the last one of the CBS police drama series. Also, another tweet from Jordan Harper, producer and writer of "The Mentalist", responded to a tweet that asked the season 7's first episode title. Stated in Cartermatt, Jordan Harper said that the first episode's title was "Copper Bullets" and is written by Tom Donaghy.
According to TV Line, the seventh episode of the upcoming season will introduce Teresa Lisbon's two brothers. Some of the show's avid viewers speculate that the two brothers are involved because of the newfound relationship of Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon. The season will start where the show left it off last season with Patrick Jane, played by Simon Baker, kissing Teresa Lisbon, who is played by Robin Tunney.
Also, the other stars will also be guesting on the upcoming season of The Mentalist. Derek Phillips from Friday Night Lights will be playing a guest role in "The Mentalist", along with Rob Belushi, who played as a go-to bartender named Linus from How I Met Your Mother's last season, according to Entertainment Weekly.
To bring closure on their plot arcs, Morena Baccarin and Dylan Baker will also star on "The Mentalist" Season 7. Bruno Heller, the creator of said television show, have referred to the seventh season as an encore.
A new star will also be joining the show's roster of members, Josie Loren. Joe Adler, playing as the FBI I.T. Wizard Jason Wiley, has been promoted to become a regular on the series. Rockmond Dunbar will be joining the cast as well as playing the role of FBI Agent Dennis Abbott.
Also, another character will be added to the cast. The rumored FBI newbie, Michelle Vega, will maybe interfere with Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's love team and inevitably create a love triangle.
Meanwhile, Emily Swallow, who plays Kim Fischer, will not be re-appearing in the seventh season of "The Mentalist."
