'Dragon Age': Inquisition Delayed Release Made the Game Better; Cassandra Set To Comeback
Fans of the high fantasy role playing game series, "Dragon Age," is set to wait for quite a bit longer, after the game's release date was moved. "Bioware's Dragon Age: Inquisition," originally slated for an Oct. 7 release date in America, will be launched on Nov. 8 instead, Breathecast reported.
According to the game's executive producer, Mark Darrah, the six-week delay of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" release is because the developers are making the game better and bigger compared to the initial games from Dragon Age franchise.
"While this extra few weeks may not seem like a lot, I know the game you'll play will be all the better for it," he said in an open letter posted on the "Dragon Age's" website. America will have an earlier release date as Inquisition will be release on a later date, Nov. 21, in Europe.
According to Darrah, Bioware developers are doing some 'polishing' that can make the game more engaging for the players. "Dragon Age: Inquisition" is also said to bear a 'strengthened emotional impact of the Hero's choice'.
"Dragon Age's" newest edition will be opening with "a crack of ripping the Veil." The Veil is the division between the Thedas' physical world and the spiritual world. The destruction of the barrier will set demons free thus creating a potential for world's rupture.
The gamers will be the Inquisitor who will be the hero of the world and will fight against the demons from the spiritual world. Players can make a team to do the saving of the world together. Each player can have a character of Human, Elf, Dwarf or Quanari races.
As the players go further in the game, their character will grow and can be customized. A total of nine different playable characters are allowed for each gamer and according to "Dragon Age: Inquisition" producer, Cameron Lee, 500-tons dragon will be the new addition to the game.
Gaming Bolt also reported that the awesome and bad ass Cassandra is set to return in "Dragon Age: Inquisition." The character, voiced by Miranda Raison, opened the new teaser released for the upcoming RPG game. In an interview, Raison said the new "Dragon Age" is surely bigger and better compared to the previous versions of the game.
Recently, BioWare hosted a Twitch live stream where fans were able to have a sneak peek of the Skyhold, Gamespot reported. The Skyhold will be the base camp of the characters in the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition.
"Dragon Age: Inquisition" will be available for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4.
