'Game of Thrones' Season 5: GOT Reveals Two New Characters for Season 5
Recently, fans finally discovered that the fifth season of the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" comes back next year with an integration of the elements of flashback and references, contrary to the rule of the set when they were making the first season.
Another explosive information reached the fans today, for the highly anticipated series will be introducing two new characters upon its return, according to International Business Times.
Adewale Akkinuoye-Agbaje is playing one of the two new characters, as revealed in The Hollywood Reporter. He appeared in 2012's television series "Hunted" as Deacon Crane. He also became part of 2013's "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete" and "Thor: The Dark World." This year, he played the role of Atticus in "Pompeii" and he will be playing Nash in "Annie." He also has some numerous future projects, which include Trumbo, Bilal, and Odyssey. In the upcoming fifth season of "Game of Throne," Adewale will be playing Malko, who is a character not part of the book. Details of his role are still unannounced so fans will have to wait for further updates.
International Business Times also revealed the second character of the upcoming season. The character's name is Clea, a young commercial sex worker who is going to have a discussion with Tyrion, who is presently on the run following his murder of his father, Tywin Lannister. Gwyneth Keyworth will play the role of the said character. The actress is known for her role as Marnie in the television series "Misfits." She also appeared in 2012's "Loserville" and "Elfie Hopkins: Cannibal Hunter." This year, she became part of TV Movie "The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher: Ties That Bind," "BBC Comedy Feeds" and "7.2."
Aside from the preview given by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss regarding the presence of flashbacks in the fifth season, they also gave a teaser in a statement, according to IGN. "For season 5, again, the fear started to dissipate when we outlined it and realized how much story we had to tell," said the showrunners. "Now that we're nearly finished with the first drafts of the episode, we see no reason why the coming season shouldn't be the strongest yet," they added.
The highly anticipated fifth season of "Game of Thrones" series will return to the television in April 2015.
