Agent 47 movie Release date Bumped to August 28 of 2015
The 2007 game-turned-movie, Hitman will be rebooted and is titled Agent 47.
The original film was a failure with the critics but it grossed a $100 million at the box office with a $24 million budget. It stars Justified's Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47 and Oblivion's Olga Kurylenko.
The rebooted Hitman, Agent 47 was pushed back for an August 28 release date next year.
Agent 47 movie includes Rupert Friend as the titleholder, Star Trek's Spock, Zachary Quinto will play as John Smith, Hannah Ware as Katia van Dees and Thomas Kretschmann as the villain.
Friend, currently plays Peter Quinn in the critically and Emmy award-winning "Homeland".
The role was initially offered to the late Paul Walker, according to Business Standard.
In a report by Polygon, the film was originally slated for a February 2015 screening but was bumped into August of 2015. February is a month where the movie industry has films shown that does not do well at the box office. Beginning November until December and during the summer seasons, movie studios plots better movies at these times.
In a recent study made by Slate with the website Rotten Tomatoes, the trend is that films shown in February tends to get lower ratings.
