'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Updates: More On Father Gabriel And Beth
For a few years now, "The Walking Dead" has captivated the world with its thrilling plot. Season 5 just started but there are already many speculations on what happened to Beth and questions on who the new character, Gabriel, is. Is Gabriel a friend or a foe? Before we spill more information on Beth and Gabriel, let's have a quick recap on the latest events on "The Walking Dead" season 5.
The entertainment section of Forbes reveals that the band of survivors are still intact and on the road once more. They have survived Terminus when it was overrun. Their escape from the overwhelming Zombie horde and the cannibals who were ruling the place was quite a difficult one. Sheriff Rick Grimes is the one leading the pack into the woods, which has currently become their comfort zone.
While they are trekking the woods, the survivors encounter voices calling out for them to rescue. It was Carl who responded to the call for help. However, Sheriff Rick had second thoughts on whether they should check it out or not. Rick reminds Carl that they should look out for themselves first since nobody is ever safe. Carl agreed, but reasons out that they are still strong enough to provide assistance to those who need it.
In the past episode, we are introduced to another mysterious character - Father Gabriel Stokes, played by Seth Gilliam. Father Gabriel claims that he has never killed a person or a walker. He led the survivors into his church building, which is surprisingly still in very good state despite the present circumstances. Sheriff Rick distrusts Father Gabriel even if he introduced himself as a priest.
Gabriel tries his best to win the trust of the survivors. He takes them to a town nearby. The survivors then scavenge the place for supplies that might be useful to them.
The report on Cinema Blend reveals a Carol that has different plans. She still feels guilty over committing murderous acts in the past, which leads her to leave the group. Daryl sees Carol leave in the same car that he saw when Beth disappeared. Apparently, Daryl still remembers Beth.
