Hillsong UNITED's Taya Smith Weds

Taya Smith, the vocalist behind Hillsong UNITED's mega hit "Oceans," has tied the knot on March 22. The worship leader has married Ben Gaukrodger in Sydney, Australia. The services was officiated by her bandmate and fellow vocalist Jonathon "JD" Douglass.
Congratulations have been pouring in on instagram. Hillsong UNITED lead singer Joel Houston writes, "And then ... this happened! The most beautiful of days, amongst the most wonderful of people, celebrating the most phenomenal of occasions, and so say all of us!"
Meanwhile, Brooke (Fraser) Ligertwood joins in, "Our TayTay is a married woman! (she was the most STUNNING bride today - my eyes couldn't even take it in - I'm dictating this caption to Scotty to write because my eyes haven't recovered from how ridiculously beautiful she was."
Born and raised on the far north coast of New South Wales, Australia, Taya Smith is a key leader in the Hillsong creative team. She is a passionate worship leader who has captured the hearts of believers across the globe with her vocals in 'Oceans' and 'Touch The Sky' on UNITED's most recent albums, Empires and Zion Taya's passion for the house of God was first nurtured in Lismore as a part of the worship team and a youth leader.
