Michael English's Mother is Critically Sick & Asks for Prayers

The mother of Gospel music single Michael English is critically and he's asking for our prayers. At the time of press, English has not revealed the nature of his mother's (Grace English) illness.
Writing on Twitter, Michael writes:
"My mama is in the hospital. Please pray for her."
"My mother is fighting for her life. Finally said and finally done. Thank you all 4 your prayers 4 my mama. I'll update."
"Mama...stay with me."
Initially, Michael was a member of his family's singing group, and later a member of The Gaither Vocal Band. During his solo career, he recorded eight studio albums. English's highest-charting solo single was "Your Love Amazes Me", which reached No. 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1996. In October 2013, it was announced that Michael English would be leaving the Gaither Vocal Band to devote more time to his solo career. His departure was effective immediately. His final appearance with the group was performing "Alpha and Omega" at the 2013 Dove Awards.
On October 9th last year, Michael released his first album since 2013. Entitled "Worship," the record features Michael putting his bluesy vocals to many contemporary worship songs.
